About the Initiative
The Palestinian Arab community inside the State of Israel lives in a permanent state of economic emergency due to systematically unfair national and local policies and inefficient and even failed management of resources.
The Arab community is subject to the outbreak of general emergencies in the country on the security, health or political levels, which increases the severity of the economic situation. In the longer term, it suffers from the accumulation of serious consequences that result in undesirable consequences such as poverty, violence and crime…
The economic situation is further exacerbated by the direct dependence on state institutions, which we lack in difficult times. The situation becomes more severe when we lack a professional Arab institution that is aware of the course of events and even takes the initiative to improve the economic situation through long-term strategic initiatives and partnerships.
The existence of an Arab, professional and economic institution like this would mitigate the impact of sudden emergencies and even help pull the entire Arab community out of the cycle of poverty and unemployment and transform it into a productive society that is immune to many risks.
The Arab Economic Forum is moving steadily towards this lofty goal, which will contribute to managing the human and material resources of our society to achieve sustainable and fair economic development in all facilities and sectors.
Today, and given the security chaos that the Prime Minister described as “anarchy” (Anarchy), we must take the initiative to manage our affairs in our own hands to preserve our existence as individuals, institutions and society as a whole.
The Initiative
The Arab Economic Forum previously took the initiative to establish an economic and financial emergency room to serve our community during political, security and health crises, which included many financial, economic and accounting experts. Today, in light of the serious security events, an economic and financial emergency room has been reopened, including the best experts in their field to provide advice and guidance to commercial interests and the working human force.
In the strategic term, the forum works to build a comprehensive and specialized platform to monitor and address urgent economic issues for economic stakeholders and Arab workers and contribute to the economic fortification of society to overcome any crises under similar circumstances.
